The Pre-Show is the problem
Arrived 1 hr prior to the show, standing in a constant wet snowfall with 2 small children freezing (yes they were dressed for a special event but with winter clothes), and the line was over a block long, outside. By the time we got though security and to our seats we were 15 mins into the show already. Read all the emailed instructions.
The show itself exceeded expectations but its not the only thing stuck in our minds unfortunately. For the price of our tickets couldn't someone figure out how to space enough time in-between shows to get everyone into their seats before the start time? I feel ripped off by the Todd Rundgren!
Of all the Broadway events we have attended...never been "late" to the show due to the line-up process.
The Real Bottom Line: I would recommend other Christmas events before this one and or tell you to get in line 1.5hrs before the show knowing that there will be plenty of unhappy people anyway, but at least you will make it to your seats prior to the start of the show.
